Product branding and packaging is very important decision in 21st century as a globalization scenario. all brands are not equally liked by consumers and they selected their brand after complete analysis of all factors of market and brand,The brand name, brand packaging, the price, the content all these factors considered.
All marketers of competitive brands promote their brands through marketing communication and appeal to buy product. marketers need build strong brand if they want to establish good relation with customers and nurturing them. Branding integrates components such as Color, Style, Visual imagery to a distinguish to companies product from the competition. Developing Logos, Slogans and Taglines are all ways marketers to a specific brand.

The brand itself can be extended, both product and packaging portions serve as tie- breaker resulting from increased sales and always appreciated, which in turn can be increased further if the new product category provides higher margins.
In Indian market a good branding exercise builds, encourages loyalty and increases value. At the core branding is nothing but identifying your business or products to particular segment. for instance many people do not know the concept of Adhesive bandages,but they know band- aid very well and even when it is that some other company, it is still considered as a band aid. the some way with google. it is the brand for search engines.

Packaging : Revolutionary Global Age
The Packaging refers to all those activities related to designing , evaluating and producing the container for the product where the product is stored to protect it from any physical damages and at the same time time attracting the customer through its appeal is called packaging.
Packaging plays a important role in two aspect-first, Promotion -Protecting packaged goods from any kind of damages,counterfeiting, theft, breakage, tampering, leakage during the supply chain.
The level of product satisfaction was based on the following parameter i.e. Quality of Product , Price of Product, amount of product contained, Brand of Product, Variety of product available and the Packaging of the product .Most Indian consumers gave high importance to the packaging compared to the global average. Packaging is almost as important as the brand of product.
Indian consumer expressed that packaging has significant impact on shopping behavior both in-store and online, for the first time and repeated purchases.
Consumers are most satisfied with personal care product packaging least satisfied with packaging of carry out meals /beverages . Fragrance, beauty products and non-alcoholic beverages trailed satisfaction with 70%.
Packaging is almost almost three times more important to consumer satisfaction in developing markets(54%) respectively.
